Watch the 1,500 to 2,000 whales that migrate to the waters of the Samaná Bay on a guided boat tour or from the land at the observatory in Punta Balandra. The official whale-watching season runs from mid-January to March, but tours are available as long as whales are in the bay.
Toño Rosario performs again at the Puerto Plata Amphitheater and will impregnate that venue with his “Galactic” style on March 16 to celebrate his 30th anniversary in music. In this fun concert, he will offer the audience his full repertoire.

For the third consecutive year, Puerto Plata becomes the golf capital of Latin America PGA Tour. There is a total of 144 players from 20 countries of America that will be at the Puerto Plata Open 2019, an event of the PGA Latin American Tour, organized by Playa Dorada Golf Course.
